About the site

Shaxs.uz is a reference site about notable people of Uzbekistan. Its information is for reference. The editors try to check it against sources but cannot guarantee that every date and figure is free of mistakes. If you find one, let us know through contacts.

The site's materials

• The pages' texts are written by the editors. They may be quoted with an active link to the Shaxs.uz page. Republishing whole pages and copying the site in bulk by automated means are not allowed.
• Photographs belong to their authors. Some come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences. If you are the author of a photograph and object to it being here, write to us and we will remove it.
• Follower counts come from the platforms themselves and are updated once a month.

Authors

A registered author may suggest new people and edits. By sending a suggestion, the author confirms that the information is correct and infringes no one's rights, and allows the editors to publish and edit it. The editors may decline a suggestion and block an author who breaks these rules or knowingly sends false information.

The site is provided «as is». The editors are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of its information or for the content of sites it links to. Ads on the site are marked; the advertiser is responsible for their content.

• Exchange rates — the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
• Telling a visitor's country and city for the statistics — IP Geolocation by DB-IP, under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
• Some photographs — Wikimedia Commons; identifiers of people — Wikidata.
