A Soviet war drama made at the Uzbekfilm studio in 1969 and directed by Khabib Fayziev. It opens in an Uzbek village in 1941, where the young villager Kudrat's peaceful life is cut short by the outbreak of war and he faces his hardest trial on snowy minefields. The film is based on the real life of Hero of the Soviet Union Kudrat Suyunov, from a script by Zinnat Fatkhullin drawn from his own novella.
