Kholop (The Serf) is a 2019 Russian comedy directed by Klim Shipenko. Grisha, a spoiled rich man's son used to getting away with everything, is sent by his oligarch father to a village that appears to be in 1860, where he has to live as a serf in an attempt to change his outlook. The leads are played by Milos Bikovic, Alexandra Bortich, Alexander Samoylenko, Ivan Okhlobystin and Maria Mironova. It was released on 26 December 2019 and became one of the highest-grossing Russian films.
