A historical drama directed by Nikolai Gusarov, set in the 16th century on the middle and lower Don. In 1540 three men arrive at the camp of ataman Sidor; one has escaped Turkish captivity and learned of a chest of Ryazan treasure hidden nearby. The Cossacks decide to search for it, but so do the Turks who once hid it. Matlyuba Alimova plays Fatima.
