Abdulla Azizov

Abdulla Abdisalomovich Azizov was born in 1981. He studied at Nagoya University in Japan and graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent in 2004. In Denmark he received a master's degree in Finance and International Business from Aarhus University and completed a course in IT programming at Aarhus Technical College.

He lived and worked in Denmark for more than ten years and returned to Uzbekistan in 2019 at the invitation of the country's leadership. From September 2019 to July 2020 he was deputy chairman of the State Tax Committee, and in 2020–2022 deputy minister of health.

From January 2022 to October 2023 he was deputy chairman of the board of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex for digitalisation. In October 2023 he was appointed director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health.

On 5 May 2026 he was appointed director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry under the Ministry of Health, according to the President's press service. A presidential decree of 22 August 2026 awarded him the medal "Sodiq xizmatlari uchun" for the 35th anniversary of independence.
