Alisher Samadov

Biography
On 5 September 2026, by decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Alisher Samadov was appointed chairman of the Chamber of Accounts. His candidacy had earlier been approved by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis. The post had been vacant since January 2025, when the previous chairman, Adiz Boboev, was appointed hokim of Samarkand Region.
Before the appointment he headed the Department of Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis of the Presidential Administration, a post he had held since 14 July 2025. Earlier he was deputy adviser to the President on legal expertise and comprehensive analysis.
The Chamber of Accounts is the supreme body of state external audit and financial control.
