Biography
Aslbek Bayjanov performs under the stage name «AslWayne» (read “AslVeyn”). He was born on 26 April 1999 in Khiva. He took the name after the American rapper Lil Wayne.
He has made rap since 2015. He sings in the Khorezm dialect of Uzbek, yet has listeners beyond Khorezm. His songs are mostly about love, friendship and life.
His most-played track on YouTube is “G'animat”: as of January 2024 its video had been viewed about 27 million times. Other songs include “Bugun to'ying”, “Go'zlaring” and “Memon”. As of January 2024 his music was available only on YouTube and Spotify.
In December 2023 he performed at the “Humo Fest” rap festival, which at that time was his largest stage. As of January 2024 he had not yet given a solo concert.
In September 2024 he toured Uzbekistan with the rapper Massa, starting in Nukus and ending in Namangan.
