Hilol Nasimov

Hilol Nasimov is an Uzbek film director and actor. According to Afisha.uz he was born on 4 February and turned 63 in 2026.

He came to cinema as an actor: an episode in the series Shaytanat, small parts in Voiz and Alpomish, a relative of the hero in O'rtoq Boykenjayev (2002), one of the captains in Sardor. Later he played one of the main roles in the 2020 series Ishq o'yinlari.

As a director he made Aldangan ayol (2011), Tubanlik (2012), Sardor 3 (2012), Gumrohlar (2014), Ajal jodusi (2015), Meros (2021), Vatan ostonasi (2022) and Sevdo, playing leads himself in Odnoklassniki.ru, Gumrohlar and Aldangan ayol.

Ajal jodusi was shot at the Vatan studio on commission from the O'zbekkino National Agency and shown on 23 October 2015 at the House of Cinematographers; it deals with illegal labour migration. Meros is about the shared values of the Uzbek and Kazakh peoples, Vatan ostonasi about the life of border guards. Sevdo is a crime story about the murder of a famous singer's daughter, shot in Russia, Turkey and Uzbekistan.
