Biography
Jahongir qori Ne'matov (full name Ne'matov Jahongir To'lqinovich) is a Quran reciter and tajwid teacher. He is a lecturer (mudarris) at the Imam al-Bukhari Tashkent Islamic Institute and is described as holder of several ijazas in qira'at (muslim.uz).
Institute materials name him head of the “Tahfizul Qur'on” department; other sources call him head of the Quran sciences department, and the department's name is written differently across sources. According to the Higher Madrasa (Oliy ma'had) website, the topic of his dissertation, on the role of Muhammad al-Jazari's “Al-Muqaddima al-Jazariyya” in the development of the science of tajwid, was published in the Higher Attestation Commission bulletin.
He gives online tajwid lessons and runs the video series “Qur'on o'qishni o'rganamiz”, which teaches one surah at a time; the lessons are on his YouTube channel. He is the author of the book “Tartil”.
