Biography
Jorabek Rahimov was born on 10 July 1981 in Khorezm Region. He began in agriculture and graduated from Tashkent State Agrarian University in 2003, earning a master's degree in 2005.
In 2008–2013 he directed the district office of the Union of Farmers and Farm Enterprises in Shovot District and then headed the district agriculture and water department. In 2013–2016 he headed the agriculture and water department of Khorezm Region.
In 2016–2018 he was governor of Bogot District and in 2018–2022 governor of Koshkupir District.
In December 2022 he was appointed acting governor of Khorezm Region, and on 31 March 2023 he was confirmed in the post. In November 2024 the first session of the seventh regional council confirmed him again.
He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan. His official biography lists the «For Faithful Service» medal (2019) among his state awards.
