Sanjar Shodiyev

Sanjar Shodiyev is an actor, director and producer who also writes screenplays and poetry. He graduated from the drama and film directing faculty of the Tashkent State Institute of Arts, having first enrolled in puppet-theatre directing before moving to that course.

He names Burkhon Sharopov as his first mentor in acting. In Sharopov's film “Jonim seni yoxud egizaklar” he played Borya, the part that made him known to a wide audience and brought invitations to other films. The first film he directed was a comedy.
