Xamdam Sobirov
Uzbek pop singer from the Navoi region; he began in the group Mango and as a soloist is known for the songs “Maktabimda”, “Tentakcham” and “Janze”.
Biography
Xamdam Sobirov was born on 6 January 1989 in the Navoi region. He wanted to be a singer from childhood but did not come to music at once because of family circumstances: before finishing college he went to Russia to work, returned about a year later and continued his studies.
While at an institute he formed the group Mango with fellow students Farrux Raimov and Azizxon Saidumarov; the group was known for playful, danceable songs. It broke up after several years.
In his solo career the song “Maktabimda” (2021) is seen as the turning point; “Tentakcham” (2022), “Janze” (2023), “Daydib” and “Malohat” (2024) followed. He has recorded many songs as duets, among them “Daryo daryo” with Yulduz Usmonova (2025).
On 24 May 2024 he gave the solo concert “Janze” at Humo Arena in Tashkent, performing 25 songs, seven of them duets.
