Islam-Khoja is a historical drama by director Jahongir Ahmedov, who wrote the screenplay with Jurabek Ruzmetov. It is about Sayid Islam-Khoja, grand vizier of the Khanate of Khiva from 1907 to 1913, who carried out reforms and funded building projects at the end of Muhammad Rahim II's reign and the start of Asfandiyar Khan's, while conservative clergy and nobles opposed him. The film was made by Ezgu Film for the Agency of Cinematography of Uzbekistan and premiered in August 2018. Ulugbek Kadyrov plays the title role; at the 2019 Oltin Humo festival it won awards for production design and makeup.
