Biography
Adiz Boboyev was born on 25 January 1972 in Vobkent district of Bukhara region. In 1993 he graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy.
From 1993 he worked in the finance department of Bukhara regional administration, and from 2002 was its deputy head. From 2008 to 2020 he worked at the Ministry of Finance, forecasting revenues of the Republican Road Fund and later heading departments that financed state development programmes. From 2012 to 2017 he was deputy executive director of the extra-budgetary fund that financed the repair of schools, colleges and medical institutions.
In 2020–2023 he was Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, and in 2023–2024 Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance.
On 29 January 2024 he was appointed Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan. From 28 November 2024 he was acting governor of Samarkand region, and on 25 November 2025 he was confirmed as governor. In September 2026 media still named him as the region's governor.
