Biography
Anvar Abduqayum is an Uzbekistani entrepreneur who runs a business-themed blog on social media. According to a Spot.uz interview (November 2022), he was born in 1981 in Tashkent, studied at the Tashkent Architecture and Construction Institute, and worked as a tutor and translator during his student years.
He later worked as an interpreter and manager's assistant at an import-export company, then as CIS general manager of a Dutch company based in Turkey. He started a packaging business in 2005 and set up the Toy bola toy production in 2009.
His ventures include the Afiyet (2017) and Puro (2020) restaurants and cafes, and the UZBIC business council launched in June 2022 to help Uzbek companies export.
On Instagram, Telegram, YouTube and TikTok he shares thoughts and ideas about business. He is on the list of nominees of Influencer Awards 2023 in the Business category (Tashkent Digital Marketing Forum 2024).
