Biography
Davron Hidoyatov was born in 1976 in Tashkent. He graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics in 1998. In 2009–2012 he was finance director of GM Uzbekistan, and in 2012–2014 general director of the joint venture MAN Auto-Uzbekistan.
In 2014–2017 he headed the State Committee for Privatization, Demonopolization and Competition Development. In 2017–2018 he was hokim of the Chilonzor district of Tashkent, and from October 2018 first deputy hokim of Tashkent for architecture, construction and communications.
On 30 January 2021, by a decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, he was appointed acting hokim of Tashkent region; on 19 March 2021 the regional Council of People's Deputies confirmed him in the post. In November 2021 he was moved to the post of hokim of the city of Chirchiq, where he served until March 2024.
In March 2024 he was appointed deputy chairman of the board of Uzavtosanoat for innovation and investment.
