Biography
Ikhtiyor Abdullayev was born on 22 May 1966 in Uchkoprik district, Fergana region.
In January 2010 he was appointed by presidential decree to the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, and reappointed in January 2015. From 21 April 2015 he was Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan.
By presidential decree No. UP-5318 of 31 January 2018 he was appointed chairman of the National Security Service and relieved of the post of Prosecutor General. He left the National Security Service on 11 February 2019.
