Jamila Gafurova

Jamila Gafurova (Jamila G'ofurova) is an Uzbek film actress. In an August 2017 interview with Daryo she said she had worked in the arts for 17 years and had played about forty film roles.

Among the state-commissioned films in which she appeared she named «Sog'inch sohili», «Devona», «Jasur», «Uqubat», «Aldangan ayol», «Baron», «Gumrohlar», «Kechikkan hayot», «Armon» and «Barakasini bersin»; they address drug abuse, human trafficking, prostitution, HIV/AIDS and terrorism. She is listed in the cast of «Jasur» (2012).

In 2014 she was one of three actresses nominated for an award in the same category, together with Asal Shodieva and Shahzoda Matchonova; the award went to Asal Shodieva.
