Kamoliddin Rabbimov

Kamoliddin Rabbimov was born on 14 October 1977 in the Ishtikhon district of the Samarkand region. In 1994–1999 he studied at the translation faculty of the Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (Oriental languages: Arabic language and literature, English), and in 1999–2002 did postgraduate studies at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan.

He did research at the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President (2000–2001), the «Ijtimoiy fikr» public opinion research center (2002–2004) and the Institute for Civil Society Studies (2004–2005). In 2003–2005 he was a consultant to the International Republican Institute (USA) in Uzbekistan and worked with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation as a referent; in 2005–2006 he was a political science researcher at the University of Warsaw.

According to the available data, he lived in France in 2007–2021, working at a research center, and returned to Uzbekistan in 2021. In 2019 his book «Ikki dunyo sivilizatsiyasi» was published in French in France.

He now gives interviews to Uzbek and foreign media on geopolitics, politics and sociology and takes part in podcasts. His official Telegram channel (@Rabbimov_rasmiy) has about 24.5 thousand subscribers according to tgstat.com.

On 18 February 2026 his book «Erkin millat poydevori» was presented in Tashkent: it analyses Uzbekistan's path as an independent state in 1991–2016 and how governance differs in the later period; it was published in Uzbek (Cyrillic and Latin), Russian and English. According to Kun.uz it is his third book; in the early 2000s, with historian Naim Norkulov, he translated articles of the Jadid journal «Oyna» into modern Uzbek script and wrote commentary on them. In late June 2026 the book was presented at Istanbul Commerce University.
