Otabek Madrahimov

Otabek Madrahimov is an Uzbek singer and actor. According to some sources he was born in 1975. He began on stage and in film: first as a drummer, then as an actor, his first film role being in “Chapani oshiq”.

He became popular in the 1990s, and the songs “Lola”, “Malika budur” and “Labingdan o'pay” are linked with his name. In 1996 the “Otash Show” troupe staged “Ertaklarga sayohat”, a show based on his repertoire; the album “Zuli” came out the same year and “Dona-dona” in 2000. He names Farrukh Zokirov as his mentor.

By his own account he lived about twelve years in the United States. In 2026 he returned to the stage, appearing in the “Million” group's concert programme in April and at Ozoda Nursaidova's concert in Tashkent in May.

In 2026 he marks 35 years of his career. His solo jubilee concert takes place on 2–5 November at the Friendship of Peoples Palace of Arts in Tashkent (three days were planned at first, a fourth was added). He is working on a new album with Ahliyor and collaborating with Jasur Badalboyev.
