Rasuljon Abdurakhimov

Rasuljon Abdurakhimov is an Uzbek artistic gymnast. He was born on 3 October 1996 in Fergana, began gymnastics there and later trained in Tashkent. He has competed for Uzbekistan since 2010; his head coach is Ruslan Irgashev.

He placed 7th with the team at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games (in 2018 also 13th in the all-around and 8th on parallel bars). A 45th place in the all-around at the 2019 World Championships earned him an Olympic berth, and in Tokyo (held in 2021) he was 49th in all-around qualification. After the Games he received the Builder of the Future medal from the President of Uzbekistan.

At the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya he won team silver and bronze in the all-around and on parallel bars. In 2023 he won parallel bars gold at the Varna World Challenge Cup, his first World Cup series medal. In 2024 he took parallel bars bronze at the Cottbus World Cup and, at the Asian Championships, team silver and parallel bars bronze; his Doha World Cup result earned an Olympic berth, and in Paris he was 22nd in parallel bars qualification.

He was named best male artistic gymnast of 2022 by the Uzbekistan Gymnastics Federation. According to Wikipedia, he also won bronze on parallel bars at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya.
