Biography
Shokhrullo Abdullaev was born in Tashkent on 14 January 1993. He was drawn to music from childhood, learned the piano and began composing his own melodies at about fourteen. He first enrolled in law at Westminster International University in Tashkent, then went to the United States to study acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
For a long time he wrote songs in English and Russian; in 2019 the video for “Tun”, his first song in Uzbek, was released. That year also brought the videos for “Bu kecha” and “Moviy ko'zlar”, followed by “Lola” in 2020. His style is pop and soul.
Besides music he works in film: he had a notable role in “Game within game” in 2010, then appeared in “Hamroh” (2017), “Istanbullik milliarder” (2019) and “101 Flight” (2020). For a time he also hosted a travel programme on the Zo'r TV channel.
In 2022 he was chosen as Uzbekistan's artist for the international TBRG Open'22 music project, working with Jason Derulo in Los Angeles and performing on stage at the Wiltern Theatre.
