Life Passed by Night is a film novella made by Uzbekfilm in 1964 and released in March 1966. A driver, Akram, takes the wife of Dr. Radzhabov on a journey and recalls a night they once spent together by a campfire. Surayya tells him she married the doctor to save her seriously ill mother, and later left a husband who restricted her freedom to work and help other people. It was written and directed by Uchkun Nazarov, with Iosif Prut as co-writer.
