The Little Healer (Kichkina tabib) is a drama with touches of comedy and fantasy, made at Uzbekfilm in 1998 on commission from Uzbekkino. Zulfiqor Musoqov wrote and directed it. A village boy, Doniyor, can cure gravely ill people; word of him reaches Tashkent, and the wealthy businessman Shuhrat Shodmonov asks him to help his granddaughter, who has fallen into a strange stupor. Doniyor comes to suspect that the cause is the unhealthy atmosphere in her family. Doniyor is played by eight-year-old Dilshodbek Kattabekov in his screen debut, alongside Karim Mirkhodiyev, Murod Rajabov, Zikir Muhammadjonov and Rajab Adashev.
