A historical biographical film about Nizami Ganjavi, the poet and humanist philosopher of the East who lived at the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries. It was made in 1982 at Azerbaijanfilm and directed by Eldar Kuliev, with Muslim Magomayev in the title role.
