Little Bird (Sinchalak) is a 1961 Uzbekfilm picture based on Abdulla Qahhor's novella of the same name, directed by Latif Fayziyev. It is set on the Buston collective farm, where the chairman Arslanbek Kalandarov rules in a domineering way and underestimates Saida Aliyeva, the young party secretary sent from the district. The story turns on the clash between the two and on the dispute over mechanised cotton picking.
