Rustam, a young Uzbek helicopter pilot, is sent on a long assignment to West Germany to help build a high-voltage line in the Alps. There he meets Uzbek emigrants, and his contact with them makes him realise what his homeland means to him. Directed by Elyor Ishmukhamedov at Uzbekfilm in 1973, it features Shukur Burkhanov and Baken Kydykeeva as an emigrant couple. At the 1974 All-Union Film Festival it won a prize for cinematography.
