Kammi is an Uzbek drama produced by the Inson studio and directed by Jahongir (Janik) Fayziyev, who wrote the script with Yuri Dashevsky. Set in Tashkent, it follows twenty-year-old Camilla, who is left alone while her mother is away on a trip, begins a relationship with a young man and learns that she is pregnant, which forces her into a difficult choice. Marina Kobakidze plays the lead; the cast also includes Rano Kubayeva, Bakhtiyor Zakirov and Svetlana Norbayeva. The film was shown at the Three Continents festival in Nantes, where Kobakidze won the prize for best actress and the film received a prize for sound and original music.
